*functionality included with most standard animals and special characters
Step 1: Choose your character type - this is the shape of the overall figure (animal or human).
Step 2: For animal characters ONLY, select any style option which applies (for humans leave this on standard):
Step 3: For all characters, select detail options which apply (or leave blank):
Once you've chosen all your options and secured a slot, email any details, photos or references to email@example.com and I'll work with you to refine the design of the figurine where necessary. Delays in references may postpone your crafting date, so please prepare them as soon as you can after purchase! Please allow a few days for a response to your references. Be aware that your design may need to be simplified to suit my style and workflow - in the event that I cannot accommodate your character design for whatever reason you'll be given the option to negotiate, choose a different character or receive a refund. Refunds will not be given once work has started.
Each figurine is hand-crafted from polymer clay and painted with acrylic paint, then set into a base and sealed with a protective semi-gloss. Additional accessories are made from paper or acetate where appropriate. These are art pieces, not toys, so please handle with care and protect from knocks and drops!
I aim to make each figurine within two months of placing your order, though this can vary depending on how many commissions are accepted. On receipt of your reference email I will send you a link to a progress board so you can check your position in the queue. If there are any excessive changes regarding your commission I'll let you know right away.
Be sure to check back frequently and look out for announcements on social media! If you want to buy multiple figurines you will need a slot for each one, but you may purchase multiple slots per opening. I do not currently accept pre-orders or keep a waiting list. Private commissions may be taken at my discretion but most orders are made through monthly openings.
Unfortunately I do not offer this service and cannot guarantee any delivery dates. If you’re buying something as a gift be sure to allow plenty of time for crafting and delivery, and where possible try to place your order multiple openings in advance in the event that you are unable to get a slot.
I aim to ship commissions 1-2 weeks after creation. This allows me time to finish, photograph, test and package figurines properly before they leave my care. Sometimes this can be a little longer if there are additional parts to add, or if bases are being made. If you have ordered multiple figurines or other shop items they will ship together, unless you notify me otherwise (additional postage cost may apply for split orders).
All figurines are sent worldwide via Royal Mail under a tracked and insured service appropriate to their value. Postage for a single figurine is £5 within the UK, £10 within the EU and £12 worldwide, with additional fees for multiple figurines to cover extra insurance.
Postage times can vary depending on customs checks and the time of year. It is not unusual for international parcels to take up to 4 weeks to arrive, so ensure orders are placed well in advance if you want them for a particular occasion!
I cannot be held responsible for any unexpected charges. Please check the customs limit for your country if you’re unsure.
Since 2015 I’ve crafted over 500 custom figurines, so you can be sure that experience and skill will be put into your commission. I am very critical of my work and continually strive to improve, backed by a small but genuine reputation. Positive relations with clients and supporters are what keeps me crafting, so I’ll always do my best to meet expectations.
Hey! I'm Brackenhawk, a UK-based artist specialising in sculpture and painting. You've found your way to my hub for AC-themed art and creative projects including custom figurines, music boxes and make-it-yourself crafts.
Each week I craft figurines from scratch live on twitch, sharing the entire process from chunk of clay to work of art. Edited footage from streams is used to assemble time-lapsed featurettes showing off how each character came to life. In addition to my art I also transpose songs into strips for music boxes, dabble in textiles, woodworking and graphic design and try out all sorts of crafty things.
